Remarks | I was driving west on Bethany Home Road at about N 31st Ave on my way to Arbys on N 35th Ave when I saw the white streak in a downward trajectory right in front of me. Just before the horizon, whatever it was seemed to rotate to my right in what looked like a flaming wing that fell toward the horizon until it disappeared. There was no explosion on the ground that I could see and I heard no sound from the event. I looked at the clock in my car which read 10:15 (3 or 4 minutes slow). When I returned home, the news shows were transitioning to Leno, Letterman and Kimmel with no reports of a plane collision. I don't know whether it was a meteor or space junk re-entering the atmosphere or maybe some military night exercise but it was rather spectacular. |

Remarks | Started out like a bright shooting star but ended like a flaming wing parallel to he horizon. I didn't hear anything but I was thinking plane collision because of the way it finished up, that or space junk. Just not your avg shooting star. |
