We were driving north on I35. My husband and I both saw this fireball clearly and directly and have very similar personal descriptions of it. It was so impressive that it initially looked like a giant missile or firework in the sky. It shot across/down the horizon and lit up into an extremely bright blue/green fireball (like a bright electric flash) before dissolving into a few smaller golden trails. For a moment, it quickly approached low in the horizon appearing as if it was a missile about to contact ground.
