| Remarks | This object came in very fast with a sparkling trail following it, judging by the speed, angle and height i felt it very likely it would land on central Ilfracombe or, at the very furthest, the eastern part of Ilfracombe. The fireball was very close too, the nearest natural thing I have witnessed travelling that fast. Maybe about 10 to 15 seconds later I heard a sound which made me wonder whether there was thunder but it didn't seem to quite match any memory of sound I have had so far. I wondered whether it had been associated with the fireball but dismissed this thought. It was an incredible thing to see:-) |
