Reports Report 28az (Event 28-2013)

Observer
Name Valerie F
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I've never seen anything like this before. I have occasionally watched what I assumed to be meteor showers which looked like "shooting stars". This was a luminous green ball, very much larger than a star but perhaps a third or quarter the size of a full moon. It seemed to move slightly slower than the "shooting stars" I had seen in the past. My sighting was brief as it was quickly obliterated by tall trees surrounding my house. I was interested to find this had been reported by others and would like to learn more about what I saw. It was a memorable sight.
