| Remarks | I was driving in the car on my way to work, so I did not hear any sounds. Unfortunately, I lost sight of the meteor quite quickly as it dropped the behind the trees on the horizon. This meteor seemed very close, and I wondered at first if it might even be a plane or satellite burning up as it came down. This was unlike any comet or meteor I have ever seen before! It was very impressive and totally astounding! |

| Remarks | Fragmentation - The sight was totally astounding. It reminded me of pictures I've seen of the sun where there's flames leaping off of it. What I saw looked almost like white "flames" falling away from the meteor. There was a tail, but I can't remember how long it lingered. Unlike many other meteors I have seen which appeared to be round balls shooting through the sky, this one reminded me of pictures I've seen of the sun. Unfortunately, I lost sight of the meteor quite quickly as it dropped the behind the trees on the horizon. |
