Remarks | I was trying to take photos of Orion with my camera and during a break is when I saw this long steady, but slow moving meteor sailing across the sky in a gradual descent. The tail was long and white, but the head of the meteor had a definite partial burning red glow with maybe some yellow. The time frame was definitely in the 22 hour period according to reference of the time the Orion pictures from review of my camera's data, but the exact minute was unknown, although I'm estimating the occurrence may have been sometime between 22:15 to 22:40 on January 19, 2013 |
