Remarks At 11:07 p.m. EST, I witnessed a brilliant fireball that may have been magnitude -5 or -6. It traveled almost directly downwards towards the horizon from the vicinity of Pollux. It brightened somewhat but perhaps not enough to call it a terminal flash.
