Aside from not hearing a sonic boom to me it seems very plausible that there is impact from fragments as the fragments appeared very substantial...

The flash appeared and continued for 2 to 3 seconds, growing brighter till fragmentatin. Definetly saw fragmentation one very large fragmentation approximately 70 percent the diameter of fireball and 4 to 5 noticeball trailing fragments.
