| Remarks | It happened very quickly so I'm not entirely sure what I saw. It was between 22:30 and 22:50. I was facing my friend, who is 5'9" and was standing about three feet away from me. It appeared to be roughly 3" above her head and to the left. It only lasted a couple of seconds so by the time my eyes found it, it was almost gone. But I remember thinking that it was probably the biggest shooting star I'd ever seen and it seemed to burst before fading. It didn't have much of an arc or a tail so I feel like maybe I was standing behind it as it traveled away from me. I think the outside was white while the inside might have been bluer. Would love to see photos of it, if anyone has some. |
