I was in my car facing the direction it fell so was unable to hear it but it was a clear sky and great visibility. This is now my second fireball in the last 4 months (Both reported). My friend at work also saw it from Chelmsford toward Cambridge.

Went from white to light blue and then the smoke disappeared with the colour. Didn't reach the horizon.
