| Remarks | It might have been nothing, or a weird firework. But something caught my eye through the window in my peripheral vision (possibly a pre-flash) making me turn away from my computer suddenly to look out of the window. This is when I saw the distinctive trail coming from ~west to east (or ESE), and curving downwards. It therefore must have slowed down a lot by then if it had been a meteor fragment. It was very bright white - mostly at the leading head. Atmospheric conditions - dark, but a clear night (stars visible). |
