| Remarks | There was a definite burning trail behind the meteor with an angle definitely heading earthbound, not a shooting star but something definitely burning up through the atmosphere. Quite surprised by the brightness of the orange trail, no sound that I could observe and the burning trail petered out before it reached the horizon. Couldn't get my words out quick enough but managed to point astonished to my friend who managed to turn around in time to observe it also. I've seen meteor showers before, this was very different. Best wishes Simon Smale |
