Reports Report 1202bkr (Event 1202-2021)

Observer
Name Josephine M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Ex Air Traffic Controller (18 years experience) so used to night sky observation. Also, no cultural lighting in extremely rural location, lovely untainted skies and stars. I can draw/paint exactly what I saw before it disappeared behind dark horizon trees. Reported it to the police as it was SO bright and the fireball so big that at first I thought it might be an aeroplane crashing! Extremely large yellow white fireball with orange outer rim and tapering yellow white tail. Very different from meteor showers and other meteors seen in the past.
