Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks The object was about 2/3 miles from me. It was very bright and traveling north to south. I was looking straight across at it. It began to break up spitting out orange particles. It was arcing downwards and struck the ground about 2/3 miles from me. I live at an elevation of 1,000ft with nothing to obscure my view. After it came down the light from it stopped. I have not been able to find any information on the meteor I witnessed but I know where it came down. It could have been a piece that had broken away but I definitely saw it come down.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks It sent pieces flying off from it burning bright orange. It was like watching a big sky rocket sending stars from it.
