I was sitting in my living room and the object went from left to right across the sky It lasted around 2 seconds and split into several pieces and disappeared. It was quite large and fairly close. It was later that I realised that it was the same date and time as the fire ball over the Cotswolds. I don't know if it's related to that but thought that it was curious that I saw it so far south.
