Remarks In the news today there was a story of a meteorite discovered in Gloucestershire with videos too of the fireball - I though "strange this sounds like what I saw a few weeks ago". I then went back through my whatsapp messages as I texted my husband to say what I'd seen - the dates and times of what I saw are almost identical - I recorded it as being 21.55 on 28th February when I saw "something". I debated on what it might be - it was silent outside that night and no wind. It was not a firework and did not appear to be a flare either. Whatever I saw was extremely low and I also commented to my husband that when I went back outside 20 minutes later I could smell a slight burning smell. If there was anything left of this fireball then the angle it was traveling at and it was very low it will have fallen within a mile of my house and I believe before the A303.
