Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks The trail disappeared and then about a 1/4th of a second later I saw a small, bright, white flash at the termination of the angle of descent. As we progressed farther (we were in a moving vehicle) we noticed a communications tower with 3 flashing safety lights. I don’t believe one is these was mistaken for the terminal flash I witnessed, but I want to include this detail just in case. Also I previously reported the approximate time of witness as 7:15pm. I asked the person who was with me and they said it was actually just about 7:30pm (They remembered looking at the clock). I don’t know if I’ll be able to review all my data inputs, so I wanted to enter that correction here just in case.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks It seemed to break up a bit in the closest part of its tail as it was nearing the end of its trajectory before the flash.
