Terminal flash
Observation

Remarks
Initial view was quite bright (several magnitudes more than the brightest of the old Iridium Flares) Gradually brightened until it broke up.
Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
Break up was about a dozen pieces (8-12 range) All of which were less bright than Venus, but more than any star. They only lasted a fraction of a second, about the width of three fingers held at arm's length.
