| Remarks | Started as one bright light. Broke into several bright clusters. Brightness decreased, going from yellowish to orange as the clusters broke into smaller and smaller fragments like a giant shower of sparks slowly streaking across the sky. A couple of larger chunks remained brighter but by the time it went past the hill on the SE horizon much of it had dissipated. Definitely the most amazing meteor I've ever seen, wish I was ready with the camera but was so absorbed with watching it I didn't get my phone out in time. |
