| Remarks | I have been an amateur astronomer for around 50 years. I have never seen such an object before and doubt that I ever shall again. Ironically, I was setting up for some astrophotography at the time, but was polar-aligning my star tracker as I glanced to the East and saw the object streak across the sky from Sth East to Nth East. Quite amazing. |

| Remarks | The streak started to the south east similar to a common meteor but rapidly grew in size & brightness until it reached maximum brightness at the end of its visible travel to the North East |
| Fragmentation | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | At its brightest point it broke up. Still travelling North it broke into one large bright object which veered slightly downwards, one smaller bright object that sheared off at an acute angle upwards and possibly smaller objects continuing in the principal direction of travel |
