Reports Report 667hk (Event 667-2013)

Observer
Name Timothy D
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I saw a meteorite streak white across the sky over Tel Aviv in the afternoon, Israel during the first week of March 2001 which was an all white streak which simply dissapeared at about 40 degrees travelling from south to north. It stayed white the whole time and had a white tail like this one. The real difference here was the distinctive beautiful blue color. I can only imagine it might indicate something about the content of the meteorite. I suppose it could also simply indicate the heat at which the meteor was experiencing as it burned.
