| Remarks | This must have been a larger object than an ordinary meteor. It appeared to enter the atmosphere at a shallowish angle from a southerly direction and was on an entirely different course to the space station (which appeared to have 2 other objects, maybe the Russian module and launch vehicle, I don't know for sure, associated with it). The space station passed directly over our location about 15 minutes later. Hope this helps. |

| Remarks | The fireball was seen by chance, moving South to North approx. and was visible for a short arc. It appeared to fragment into 2 or 3 parts with the smaller part(s) trailing. It was gone in a fraction of a second. |
