| Remarks | I facilitate a group of amateur astronomers and have been an Observational Astronomer for most of my 56 years. My wife and I were amazed at how bright and consistent it was. We were in the car, and I lowered my window as soon as I could, but didn't hear either the initial pass or a trailing sonic boom. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/vpas/ |

|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It reminded me of space debris reentering the atmosphere in that it broke into several fragments and all were very bright white and continued along the same horizontal trajectory |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It was the brightest fireball / bolide that I've ever seen. It broke up into a dozen bright pieces continuing along the same horizontal trajectory. It appeared to cross out to the East over the Chesapeake Bay. |
