Remarks I left my condominium, got into my car, and started off for the movies with a friend, sometime between 1950 and 2000. As I was pulling out of Meadow Valley Terrace, about to turn left on Claiborne Parkway, in Ashburn Virginia, I noticed what at first I thought was a big firework traveling from left to right, off to my right, in the sky. It appeared to be very close, but I then thought it was a meteor, because it was isolated, on its own. I can't remember the exact time, or color of the meteor, but I asked my friend if she saw it, but she did not. It was very interesting. I heard no sound when it flashed out.
