| Remarks | This wasn't like any kind of shooting star I'd seen before- it was much, much bigger and incredibly bright. We were traveling in the car at the time and had a full, clear uninterrupted view of it with no clouds in the sky. The other passengers also saw it. Initially it was just like a large bright shooting star at what looked like a low altitude, then it quickly became brighter over a second or two before there was a very large bright white flash before it disappeared (presumably as it broke up). |
