Remarks During the Draconid meteor shower last night, I saw what I believe to be a bright fireball while outside. This was during a LOUD rock show, so that's why I'm not able to comment on whether there was an associated sound. Several people in my area saw it. My husband saw the last two seconds or so, as I nudged him -- he studied astronomy for some time. It was fairly large, and incredibly bright. It went below our field of vision at the end, due to the roof of the low building in front of us. I really wondered at first if some fragments ended up making it through... but I didn't see any reports on social media or elsewhere. Bottom line, though: It was truly awe-inspiring!
