Reports Report 7149t (Event 7149-2021)

Observer
Name Greg V
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was on a hill facing the NE looking at the Milky Way to the left and the (Pleiades?) on the right, clear sky, and dark. The horizon is a ridge, two miles away across the valley. I was sitting and looking straight at the the event location when it appeared until it disappeared. I was aware that I might want to report this so I noted the location on the horizon via landmarks, the height above the horizon using my outstretched hand (two fingers at the beginning, one at the end), the duration (4s +/-) as well as the time it occurred (8:19ish pm), all immediately after the event. This morning I used Google Earth to get the GPS locations that follow. My point of view was exactly: 47.221325, -121.001943, elevation 2373'. My landmark on the horizon ridge top for the full path of the event was two miles away at 47.236212,-120.965840, at 3500', roughly centered. Object traveled from my right to left for about an outstretched finger length distance.
