There were two fireballs! 5 witnesses, 3 adults and two children. Initially I observed one fireball from inside the house just below the eaves line. I saw yellow, orange flames trailing behind white grey 'rock' in a NW direction (flames). When we went outside on the balcony (overlooking the bay) we saw two large red fireballs (approx 2cm diameter at arms length). I must have observed the lower of the two from inside the house. We watched the two fireballs lower towards the other side of the bay for about 15- 20 seconds slowly fading to small red dots then disappearing. The higher fireball disappeared 2-3 seconds before the lower one. They appeared to be moving about the speed of fighter jets. We heard no sound. The whole experience was amazing and looked like something out of a movie. Unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. |
