Reports Report 7540wx (Event 7540-2021)

Observer
Name Ken L
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I saw it a minute or so after the 2nd stage cut-off of the Dragon-3. It was moving so slowly that my wife was able to turn and see most of the event (5-6 seconds total) after I shouted when it first appeared. She had watched the great Leonid storm with me 20 yrs ago and was very impressed with this one. It went from bright orange to brilliant green, then back to orange/green as it flickered out at the end of its path. It was low in the sky to the NNE and burned out just above the horizon. Tracing its path backwards, it was definitely a Taurid.
