Reports Report 7540zm (Event 7540-2021)

Observer
Name Jack I
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks We were watching the Crew-3 launch and could see the second stage to our due east when we were startled by a sudden bright light to our right, out of the corner of our eyes. It was closer to the Moon than to the Falcon 9 and bright and green. A family member was at the CLT airport on a layover, looking East, trying to see the rocket launch, and excitedly reported seeing a bright green fireball directly over downtown Charlotte, NC.
