Reports Report 852l (Event 852-2013)

Observer
Name Alex B
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks As I said above, I have no real astronomy experience aside from attending some shows at the campus planetarium, but I ruled out any other possibilities for what I saw. Due to the green color, I thought initially it was some kind of firework, but it moved way too quickly and too high, and left no sound. It was actually a pretty spectacular experience for me, as I haven't seen anything like it before. I'm especially surprised by its relative brightness in the evening sky. It was brighter than most stars you can see around here during the night, thanks mainly to light pollution. I kind of wish I took astronomy this semester instead of this fall so I could share this with a professor... Also, I was very impressed by the interface of your form. It was very well designed, comprehensive, and fairly easy to use.
