Remarks High School astronomy teacher for 15 yrs and member of Cape Cod Astronomical Society, Massachusetts. This was not an ordinary “shooting star”. It was much brighter with a wider and somewhat longer path.

Remarks The line appeared to possibly get thicker (wider) and flicker a bit however it could have been an illusion because much of its visible path was through tree branches.
