Remarks | My wife and I had just started our morning walk and were walking from our driveway in a westerly direction crossing Crescent Avenue. At 6:18 AM it was still dark. She turned and immediately said look up pointing to the sky. I turned and was now facing in an easterly direction and saw the fireball moving across the sky from my left to right in a southerly direction. The elevation seemed constant, not up or down. It was moving much slower than some shooting stars I have seen and the width of the light band was more distinct. We were both impressed with what we had seen, but were not sure what it was. |
