Reports Report 9430m (Event 9430-2021)

Observer
Name Elisabeth T
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks The time I indicated 19:30pm ET is aproximate, it may be a few minutes +-. We first saw it in front of use a bit above ourselves, and it flew by in front towards the left, we followed it with our eyes turning to the left until it disappeared over our shoulders. It was huge and very bright, it seemed so close it felt like it was falling right down into our neighborhood, and it looked like a real ball of fire. To give an idea of the size, from our viewpoint it looked like the size of a full moon in its zenith. It had a few pieces that followed and which were smaller. After it disappeared, the other pieces also extinguished. It was an absolutely amazing event. We had seen shooting starts before, but this was our first experience with a fireball. It was so close, so big and so bright. Lucky to have witnessed this together with my husband.
