My subjective impression was that the fireball was moving parallel to the motorway on my right (I was travelling westbound). There was no significant change in its altitude during the time I saw it. It did not appear as a pure point source, but as a small orb. Magnitude estimate very rough indeed - brighter than Venus but not as bright as the full Moon. Altitude estimate also very rough - anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees
