Remarks The arc of the meteor's path seemed like it was going to intersect with the center line of the road, if the road stretched straight far enough. I saw it for much of its descent, though maybe not the beginning.

Remarks Long white streak at first that did not persist with a black cloud surrounding the fireball. There was a large oval puff of black, when it broke up, that persisted after the rest had disappeared just above the tree line.
