Remarks I saw the giant meteor off the coast of Del Mar several years ago from the perspective of westbound on highway 56, near Carmel Valley Road. Tonight's meteor was pretty bright and impressive, but perhaps 25 times smaller than the one off the coast from Del Mar.

Remarks A glowing train. The entire fireball appeared to be a consistent material and appeared as a giant upside-down apostrophe. The round fireball flowed into the train, perhaps one diameter long, which tapered into a point. the entire meteor appeared to waft briskly downwards, rather than streaking, but appeared to disintegrate before hitting the ground. It simply disappeared in the air.
