Reports Report 1147k (Event 1147-2022)

Observer
Name Myles O
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I am 63. This is only the third fireball I have seen. The first was when I was 10, from Glasgow on 24th Jan. 1969. This was my first ever night looking at stars with my elder brother who was a keen amateur astronomer. I was impressed and assumed you could see such fireballs almost any night! My brother told me such a sighting was really rare. My second fireball was 20 years later from Dungannon in Northern Ireland on 31/7/1988. It was the evening before my wedding. Although I am not superstitious I took it as a good omen. I am still married 33 years later!
