| Remarks | Dates and times are my best estimate. The year was definitely 1998, the year after the death of Princess Diana. It was late evening as it was dark. I believe it was late summer as I was outside putting salt on path to kill slugs. Object was black with no discernible shape. There were bright colours of blue, green, orange emitting from the rear. Not like a jet or missile. It was more like flames of all digger colours. I’ve always assumed this was a meteor but now I’m beginning to question why I assumed that and I also question why it’s taken me all this time to report it. It was like a scene from war of the worlds except this thing went horizontally from west to east. |
