Remarks this is the very first time that we have ever seen anything like this during daylight hours, at the time we were watching a family of buzzards flying in the sky above us, so this is how we caught the event.

Remarks it was like a very bright shooting star, much brighter than you would see at night. we have seen lots of shooting stars where we live at night (because we live in a "dark sky's area") and this was so much brighter because it was during the afternoon.
