Was rideing on the side of a railcar travleing west towards the swicth my veiw to the south was blocked by the car. Looking west and saw fireball very bright I'm sure some of my view was blocked by the box car. Did not hear any thing, trains can make alot of noise.Time was about 2300 +- 5 min
