Observer
Name Paul G
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I am not sure this was a meteor. It almost looked like a comet. It made a huge smoke ring when it was directly overhead of my location in central Illinois. After the smoke ring we could see a trail of something coming off of it. The smoke ring lingered for quite sometime. It kept traveling towards in a northeastern direction. I had tried to search for a passing satellites but could not find any that were in this area at the time.
