| Remarks | At first I thought it was an airplane, but quickly realized planes don't generally fly in that direction here, and it went from white to orange- then looked like it "glittered" as it extinguished, like a fast dying ember in a campfire. Actually, I'd been working on the memorial service for my infant son, Alex just before I saw it, so the astronomer in me says it was an amazing coincidence. The mom in me says it was a kiss from him- a sign that he's watching over his twin brother, and the rest of us, and not to be so sad. He's doing well and is happy now, and wanted to bring a smile to my face. |
