I was inside watching TV in my bedroom. The flash was bright enough to catch my attention through relatively small windows - would have been blinding I think if I'd been looking directly at it. Glancing out the window I then saw the fireball after the flash had passed. Fireball streaked across leaving a smoke trail. Was pretty quick and the smoke vanished quickly too.
