Reports Report 3970s (Event 3970-2022)

Observer
Name Markus T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My friend S. W. and me were in this park last night, after throwing my UltraLED flying disc in the darkness a little. During a beer break, standing and sitting there, I spotted this object, immediately shouting to him "AU, SCHAU MAL!!" Luckily he became witness of this thing going down, too (although only the last part "after" the treetop). I'll ask him to contribute his report here, also.

Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 0.2s
Length
Remarks After breaking apart and spreading in different pieces, I saw short afterglow trails of the 2 or 3 parts. One brighter than the one or two others, and also flying further down in a slight bow. It's breaking in pieces seemed to happen "behind" a solely/higher standing treetop I looked "through"; the still single, bright trail rightsided of the tree became to multiple ones left of it. These were of different brightness, and one lower (maybe the smaller) one flared out in blue or whiteish in the very last moment. However, the compact object at first appearance was in a warmer yellow or bright orange color.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks please see my description above
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks already described above
