Remarks I turned on my police scanner because I was sure we would hear about something hit by this. The flash and the sound were very close together. Only saw a flash, no object.

Remarks Was looking at the moon and saw a very bright flash like a flash from a camera. Heard a boom very shortly after (maybe 1 sec.). The train was seen after the event. Went from almost straight up to the horizon line. Was a continuous line with a bump in it twords the top. Dissipated after about 30 minutes.
