| Remarks | It was over a field next to the road I was driving on (on my side of the road) about 25 metres in front of me. What impressed me was how close it got to the ground before the firey light went out - no higher than the oak tree I saw it come down beside. Very low. It was as if on fire. The field is full of wheat. I went looking for a meteorite in the field with my teenage son 3 days later, on the 16th July, but we didn't know what we were looking for really - and the wheat was waist high so not at all easy to see the ground, or anything on it. |
