Remarks My husband and a friend were stargazing in the friend's backyard and all 3 of us saw it. Night was dark and clear and the northern part of the Milky Way was visible to the naked eye at our vantage point. The fireball appeared on the east side of the Milky Way and 45 degrees below Vega (from where we sat and looking up at the sky).
