| Remarks | I saw this object appear from out of the west a very (faint) greenish color. I thought at first I was seeing a contrail off a flying airplane, but as it approached the contrail only extended very little. As it came closer into view I realized this was no meteor or contrail. As it got closer, the greenish color went to a whitish color, this contrail seemed to be wavy with separated orbs (5-6) all at the same magnitude (-1 to -4). At my full view it was about 7 degrees in length. I was able to snap a photo of it before losing it to the bridge that parallels the Hudson river east of my location. The observation lasted just over a 1 min and I thought I was hearing a humming noise from it as it past by. |
