I only glimpsed the meteor itself appear in the periphery of my vision - but was able to view the glowing train for a long time as it faded away over a minute or more.

train was actually a connected series of glowing "blobs" - very sparkly overall in appearance, faded away gradually over a minute or maybe even two minutes. I had time to fumble with my phone and take two photos of the fading train
